About Office Forty

Sport regulation in Malta has started in 2003 with the introduction of Chapter 455 of the Laws of Malta, whereby the first Register for Sport Persons has been contemplated. Prior to 2022 and the creation of the Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport by virtue of Chapter 626 of the Laws of Malta, all regulatory matters were within the remit of SportMalta. Following the creation of the Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport and the complexity of the requirements imposed by Chapter 626, regulation of sport has taken a complex tangent and sport organisations inevitably need better structures and professional help with compliance and legal matters, even more so when the number of new commercial sport organisations is increasing and current voluntary organisations contemplating a conversion to a commercial approach.

Based in Floriana, Malta, Office Forty is a dynamic legal firm focusing on Sport Law related matters. We stand out for our personalised approach and assisting sport organisations with legal, regulatory compliance, and commercial / corporate matters. Let us deal with the paper work while you focus on your sport.
